I have 3 ideas.

Local showing of horror films by specific theme or director, like "Stephen King" or "John Carpenter" or "Haunted House" or "80s Slasher" or something like that. I guess we would need a venue for something like this.

Spooky murder mystery with limited tickets, dinner, drinks, and of course...a murder mystery to solve. People come dressed as their character.

Harvest Baking Competition. Categories can be fairly simple like Yeasted Bread, Quick Bread, Cake, Pie, Savory, and Totally Alaskan (challenge to come up with Alaskan cuisine). It would be a great time for it with everyone harvesting from their gardens, foraging for wild edibles, and wanting to make stuff.
